I’m Stephen Ogunmuyiwa, a 23yr old robotics engineer, AI systems builder, and product-focused innovator. With a background in Engineering Physics, I’ve spent the past few years building intelligent systems—from ground robots and rehabilitation exoskeletons to AI agents and blockchain-powered apps.
At just 21, I was appointed Head of Innovations at Robotics & Artificial Intelligence Nigeria — the first Robotics & AI Facility in Nigeria — where I led a multi-disciplinary team pushing the frontiers of automation, humanoid robotics, and embedded intelligence.
My journey has been a mix of high-stakes problem-solving and big-stage moments. I’ve showcased my work to the Vice President of Nigeria and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Mohammed, receiving recognition for building impactful technology in energy, healthcare, and education.
I'm also fascinated by quantum computing and earned achievement badges from IBM Quantum and Qubit by Qubit, placing in the top 16% globally during the IBM Global Quantum Challenge.
I don’t just build — I compete, win, and prototype fast. I’ve won a Web3 Hackathon by building an AI agent capable of executing blockchain payments autonomously, blending on-chain logic with off-chain reasoning. In another Fintech Retail Hackathon, I developed a mobile self-checkout system that lets customers skip queues and pay directly from their phones. I’ve also been a finalist and winner in notable challenges like the Mode AI Hackathon and Ercas Pay Global Hackathon. On the startup front. As co-founder of 101REOS, I helped build a full-suite ERP for retail — including AI-powered tool generation, mobile checkout, and POS systems.
Beyond the tech, I build for people. I’ve helped close friends find purpose in engineering, mentored aspiring developers, and built systems that solve problems my family and community face daily — from access to medicine, to reducing power bills, to bringing STEM to underserved kids.
